Rochester, NY - The Brockport men's soccer team played the University of Rochester to a 0-0 draw on the road on Tuesday, September 3
rd. The Golden Eagles moved to 1-0-1 following the draw with another road game ahead this weekend.

The Golden Eagles held the Yellowjackets without a shot on goal in the opening half, outshooting Rochester 7-1 in the first 45 minutes (2 SOG).

With less than four minutes remaining in the first half,
Russ Domm looked to break the scoreless tie but was stopped by Rochester goalie Santino Lupica-Tondo.

The Rochester offense threatened in the second half, outshooting Brockport 9-4 and doubling the Golden Eagles shots on net (4-2).

Although both teams would find opportunities in the second half, both goalies would stand tall for the 0-0 draw.

Andrew Taylor (1-0-1) stopped all three shots he faced en route to his second shutout in as many games.

Khadim Amar (1 shot),
DJ Taylor,
Andy Cespedes,
Alex Rivara (1 shot),
Russ Domm (1 SOG), and
Trevor Lagarde (1 shot) all played 90 minutes for Brockport.

Peter Tinaj (1 SOG) and
Max Voyer (2 SOG) led the Golden Eagles with three shots each.
