Brockport, NY – The Men's and Women's indoor track and field teams hosted the Winter Welcome Back to Brockport Meet where both teams showed out for the home opener. 

Men's Team:

In the men's mile Jonathan Zavala had a strong race coming in 1^st  out of 58 runners at a a time of 4:11.81. Coming across the line just one place later was Charlie Alekson making his mark at 4:16.52

In the men's 400, Ayden Grinion, Michael Durski, and Owen Arbocus took 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th making times of 50.13 (Grinion), 50.48 (Durski), and 51.60 (Arbocus). 

Derek Grimshaw took 4^th in the men's 60m race at 7.16 seconds.

Tyler Knaggs had a strong performance in the 500m race coming in 2^nd place at 1:10.04.

In the men's 800m, Nick Markle clinched 3^rd place at 1:59.34.

Cole Ferris and Judson Delany took 3^rd and 4^th making their marks at 22.88 seconds and 23.45 seconds. 

Sean Killip dominated in the men's 3000m race coming in 1^st place and crossing the line at 8:36.87.

The men's 4x400m team had a strong 1^st place finish at a time of 3:35.35. The team consisted of Michael Durski, Cole Ferris, Jason Swanson, and Ayden Grinion. 

Gabe Giannini had a day in the men's long jumping coming in 1^st place with a 7.23m jump. 

In the triple jump, Dennis Bobbitt also had a strong 1^st place finish making a 13.89m jump. 

Taking 7^th place in the men's weight throw was Jacob DeWilde with a 14.20m throw, and in the men's shot put, Nick Wright clinched 3^rd place with a 13.66m throw. 

With a 1.86m jump in the high jump, Cardin Chau took 2^nd place overall and 1^st for the team. 

To finish out the day, Gabe Giannini took 3^rd place in the pole vault with a 4.60m jump.  
 
Women's Team:

Vanessa Ramos started the day strong with a 6^th place overall finish in the mile with a time of 5:32.07. 

In the finals of the women's 60m hurdles, Lexi Rodriguez took 2^nd place at a mark of 9.60 seconds. 

Clinching 2^nd and 3^rd place in the women's 400m sprint was Marissa Wise with a time of 59.49 seconds and Lexi Rodriguez at 1:00.51. 

Ariana Proper had a strong performance in the women's 500m race crossing the line at 1:23.72 good for a 1^st place finish. 

In the women's 800m race, freshman Ethne Degan had a day finishing in 1^st place at a time of 2:19.44 with Mia Vizcaino finishing just two places later at 2:20.58.

In the 200m sprint, Courtney Bostic took 5^th place crossing the line at 28.30 seconds. 
 
Maeve Robarge showed out in the women's 3000m race coming in 2^nd place at 11:30.86.

Both of the women's 4x400 teams showed strong performances coming in 1^st and 2^nd. Lexi Rodriguez, Monica Cammarota, Lily Rexford, Courtney Bostic took 1^st at 4:11.18 and Aaliyah Wright, Ethne Degan, Mia Vizcaino, Emily Leo finished in 2^nd at 4:17.29. 

In the long jump, Sasha Schramm had a day with a 5.39m jump which helped her to a 2^nd place finish. Schramm also took 1^st place with an 11.05m jump in the triple jump event. 

In the weight throw, Katrina Chandler clinched 3^rd place with a 14.5m throw. 

In the shot-put Trinity Dees made 1^st place from a 12.11m throw. 

In the high jump, Brockport had 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place finished from Michaela Lavesque (1.49m jump), Tessa Patchen (1.49m jump), and Sasha Schramm (1.44m jump).

Finishing out the day in the women's pole vault was Isabel Swyers with a 7^th place finish from a 3.45m jump.
