Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's basketball team will head to Pittsburgh, PA, to take La Roche University on Tuesday, January 21
st at 5 p.m.

Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles improved to 7-7 overall and 5-1 in Empire 8 play following a 77-63 win at Keuka on Saturday, January 18
th. The win marked Brockport's third straight Empire 8 victory.

Zachary Rice had a big night for the Golden Eagles with a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. He led the team in both categories while shooting 6-for-10 from the field.       Â

Adewale Fasanmi shot a perfect 4-4 from the field, scoring eight points with five rebounds.

The Golden Eagles led by as many as 29 points, marching to a 14-point victory on the road.

Bouncing Back: Following a rocky 1-6 start to the season, the Golden Eagles have found their footing in Empire 8 play. Brockport has won six of their last seven, including a 5-1 start to Empire 8 play with three straight victories.

Deep Threat: Leading Brockport in all shooting statistics,
Zachary Rice has provided a much-needed deep threat for the Brockport offense. Rice has connected for multiple three-point field goals in 13 of 14 games, with his 42% shooting from deep good for third-best in the E8. His 2.6 three-pointers per game are good for the fourth-best in the conference.

Scouting La Roche: The Redhawks will enter Tuesday's matchup with a 4-11 record, coming off back-to-back losses. La Roche will be returning home following three straight road contests, most recently falling to Penn St. Altoona 70-59.
