Brockport, NY- The Brockport Golden Eagles will head to Geneseo on Tuesday, January 28^th at 5:30 p.m.
 
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles extended their winning streak to nine straight with an 83-59 win over Alfred on Saturday, January 25^th. Brockport improved to 15-2 overall and 8-0 in conference play.
 
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste provided solid scoring with 14 points, making 7 of 11 field goal attempts, and contributed defensively with two steals.
 
Peyton Maneri was the top scorer for the Golden Eagles, scoring 15 points on 6 of 13 shooting and adding a 3-pointer.
 
Kaileigh Hunt was a key defensive threat, recording three steals while scoring 14 points from 4 baskets and 5 free throws.
 
Shannon Blankenship provided defensive strength with a two-steal performance, adding six points.
 
Jackie Kozakiewicz (12 points, five rebounds) and Mandy Brink (9 points, five rebounds) each were perfect from three-point range, each going 2 for 2.
 
AOTW (X4): SJB collected her fourth women's basketball weekly honor, leading Brockport to another undefeated week.  The junior from Jersey City averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 61.5 percent (16-for-26) from the floor in a pair of wins over Houghton and Alfred that extended the Golden Eagles record to 8-0 in league play.
 
Turnover Battle: Across Brockport's first 17 games, the squad has won or tied the turnover battle in all 17 outings. The Golden Eagles have racked up 253 steals on the season, causing 405 turnovers compared to just 228 allowed. Cam Tooley leads Brockport in assist-to-turnover ratio, with 2.25 assists per turnover.
 
Scouting Geneseo: The Knights will enter Tuesday's matchup on a nine-game winning streak, sitting at 13-4 and 8-0 in Empire 8 play. The Golden Eagles and Knights have met frequently as former SUNYAC members, with Brockport winning last year's matchup at home 66-57.
