Brockport, NY—The Brockport women's basketball team will return home to take on Keuka on Friday, January 30^th, at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, February 1st, at 2 p.m., Brockport will host Elmira for National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
 
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles erased a 25-point at Geneseo lead to soar past the Knights, 73-72, on Tuesday, January 28^th. The Golden Eagles improved to 16-2 and 9-0 in conference play, securing a program record 10^th straight win.
 
Shannon Blankenship connected for four three-pointers, finishing with 14 points and four rebounds in a clutch performance.
 
Kaileigh Hunt posted a game-high 21 points with 2/3 shooting from deep, adding nine rebounds.  
 
Cam Tooley posted a dynamic outing, scoring 10 points with six assists, five rebounds, and two steals.
 
Let Her Cook: Posting a strong season in her first with Brockport, Kaileigh Hunt has displayed elite efficiency across her last four outings. The Queensbury native has averaged 13 ppg on 50% shooting from the floor, hitting 60% of her three-point attempts (3-5) and 86% of her free throws (12-16). On the season, Hunt leads the squad with seven rebounds per game.
 
Spreading the Wealth: The Brockport offense has proven to have several key contributors, with seven Golden Eagles averaging over five points per game. Stephanie Jean-Baptiste (17.9 ppg), Kaileigh Hunt (12.1 ppg), Peyton Maneri (8 ppg), Cam Tooley (7.1 ppg), Shannon Blankenship (6.6 ppg), Harmony Philo (6.3 ppg), and Mandy Brink (5.1 ppg) make up the top scorers for Brockport. Nine Golden Eagles have posted a double-digit scoring outing or better on the season.
 
Scouting Keuka: The Wolves are searching for their first E8 win, sitting at 5-12 overall and 0-8 in Empire 8 competition. On the road, Brockport rolled to an 80-58 win over the Wolves in their last meeting.  
 
Scouting Elmira: The Soaring Eagles currently hold a 7-10 record with a 1-7 mark in E8 play, currently on a seven-game losing streak. Two weeks earlier, Brockport secured a 74-53 win against Elmira on the road.
