The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2024 Division IIII Football All-ECAC Team and six members of the SUNY Brockport football program were honored for their performance on the field this season.  Brockport sophomore running back Isaiah Simmons was named to the first team offense, senior linebacker Ben Robinson and junior defensive back Elijah Grooms were named first team defense, while punter Dan Giangrasso earned first team special teams. Sophomore receiver Nolan Slywka and junior offensive lineman Adam Montalvo earned second team offense for the Golden Eagles.

Brockport wrapped up the 2024 season with a win at home at Bob Boozer Field in the 2024 ECAC Clayton Chapman Bowl Game and the Golden Eagles have now advanced to the postseason in eight consecutive years. The Golden Eagles finished the year 8-3 overall and placed second in the Empire 8 at 5-2.

Isaiah Simmons – 1^st Team Offense
Isaiah Simmons finished the 2024 season as 1st Team All-ECAC after racking up 1,510 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns on 223 carries. Playing in all 11 games for Brockport this season, he averaged 137.27 yards per game and 6.8 yards per carry as a sophomore. Simmons broke the century mark in eight games, including six straight 100-yard games to finish out the season. Isaiah earned D3football.com 3^rd Team All-Region, 1st-Team All-Empire 8 and was named the Most Valuable Player in the ECAC Clayton Chapman Bowl Game.
 
Dan Giangrasso – 1^st Team Special Teams
Giangrasso earned 1^st Team All-ECAC after earning 1st-Team All-Conference honors for the third year in a row. Giangrasso is now a  4-time All-Empire 8 selection (1^st - 2024,1^st - 2023, 1^st -2022, 3^rd - 2021) and a 3-time All-Region selection (3^rd - 2024, 1^st - 2023, 1^st - 2022). Giangrasso led the Empire 8 with an average of 42.8 yards per punt, racking up 1,456 punt yards on 34 kicks. Dan had 10 punts travel 50+ yards and he pinned opponents back inside the 20 on 15 different occasions.
 
Ben Robinson - 1^st-Team Defense
Robinson picked up All-ECAC First Team defense honors for the Golden Eagles. Earlier this year he was awarded 1^st-Team All-Conference, earning the promotion from 3^rd-Team in 2023. Robinson led an incredible Golden Eagle defense with 93 total tackles in 2024, which ranked second in the Empire 8. He is also first in the conference with 6.0 sacks to go with tallies of 9.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and three quarterback hurries.
 
Elijah Grooms - 1st-Team Defense
Grooms earned All-ECAC First Team defense for Brockport. Grooms joined the Brockport secondary this season and had an immediate impact on the field. He tied for first in the E8 with four interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Elijah also totaled 32 tackles, eight pass breakups, and one forced fumble on the season to earn his first postseason honor at Brockport. He was also a second team Empire 8 All-Conference selection for the Golden Eagles.
 
Adam Montalvo – 2^nd Team Offense
Montalvo gets honored for his work up front on the offensive line this season with his first career set of postseason awards. Adam is now 3^rd-Team All-Region in 2024, as well as 1st-Team All-Conference. The Golden Eagle junior earned a 96% player grade on the season and allowed just two sacks. Adam was a key piece of the Brockport offensive line that led the way for the Empire 8's second-best rushing attack. 3^rd-Team Offense

Nolan Slywka – 2nd-Team Offense
In year two with the Golden Eagles, Slywka proved to be a big time playmaker in the passing game for the offense. He set career-highs across the board with 49 receptions, 791 yards, and eight touchdowns. Nolan had three multi-touchdown games, including a 3-touchdown effort in a road win over Hilbert. He is now a two-time Empire 8 All-Conference player, earning 1st-Team honors in 2024 after getting 2nd-Team in 2023.
