BROCKPORT, NY - The Brockport Women's Basketball team will head to Clinton, NY, to take on Hamilton College on Tuesday, November 18th at 7:30 PM.
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles came up short against nationally ranked Trinity College, 76-63, on Saturday, November 15th. The Golden Eagles fell to 1-2 on the season following the non-conference loss.
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste led all Brockport scorers with 14 points, adding seven rebounds and two steals on the afternoon.Â
Claire Turner led the Golden Eagles with 11 rebounds, adding six points and a block to the stat sheet.
Mandy Brink rounded out the double-digit scorers for Brockport, scoring 12 points with four steals.

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste was named the Empire 8 Co-Offensive Player of the Week following excellent offensive outings against Mount Saint Mary and Trinity College. In a 1-1 weekend for the Green and Gold, Jean-Baptiste averaged 15 PPG, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and a block, highlighted by a 26-point performance in Brockport's win over Mt. St Mary. Through three games, SJB leads the Golden Eagles in three-pointers made (8), field goals made (20), and blocks (2), tied with
Josie Wray for the team lead in blocks.Â
Lockdown Defense: Holding a +260 turnover margin in the 2024-25 season, the Golden Eagles have carried over their elite defense from last season. Brockport has played to a +21 in the turnover department to begin the season, forcing 78 turnovers with 43 steals through three games. Four Golden Eagles have averaged a steal or better per game to open the season, with
Peyton Maneri (4 SPG),
Mandy Brink (3.33 SPG),
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste (1.6 SPG),
Brianna Carey (1.6 steals), and
Jackie Kozakiewicz (1 SPG) chipping in defensively.
Stiff Competition: Despite sitting at 1-2 to begin the season, the Golden Eagles have been battle-tested in non-conference play. Brockport has faced off against two schools that came off NCAA Division III Tournament appearances in 2024-25, with Trinity College currently ranked among the top-15 teams in Division III. All of Brockport's first four non-conference opponents are coming off successful 2024-25 seasons, winning 15+ games last season.
Scouting Hamilton: Hamilton has jumped out to a 2-0 start, defeating Salve Regina (79-75) and Oswego State (79-62) at home to begin the season. Brockport has split the last two head-to-head meetings, defeating Hamilton 78-71 at home in last year's matchup.
