Brockport, NY – On Saturday, November 8
th, the No.1 Brockport women's soccer team will host No. 2 St. John Fisher in the Championship round of the Empire 8 Tournament, set to start at 1 pm. The winner of tomorrow's matchup will secure an automatic bid to the NCAA DIII Tournament and will earn the 2025 Empire 8 Title.

Semi-Final Recap – On Wednesday, Brockport hosted No. 4 Hartwick College, where they fought for a well-deserved 1-0 shutout over the Hawks to advance to the final round.
The Golden Eagles were faced with strong winds and rain, but pushed through, putting up 11 shots in the first period compared to Hartwick's two. In just the 24
th minute of the first period,
Caitlin Nelson opened the scoring book for Brockport, helping them to a 1-0 lead going into the second half.
Emily McCane started in net for the Green and Gold, spending a total of 45 minutes defending and making one save.
Madeline McCrosson found her way in between the pipes after the halftime break for the entirety of the second half.
Hartwick came back, putting pressure on the Brockport defensive line, adding in two corner kicks, their firsts of the game. The Golden Eagles found three corner kick opportunities, adding six shots over Hartwick's three. The teams continued the fight for the ball, but Brockport would finish out the competition with a 1-0 clean sheet.
A Look at Fisher – St. John Fisher finished out the regular season with a 12-4-2 overall record and 9-1-1 in the conference. Back on October 11
th, Brockport traveled to Pittsford, NY, to face the Cardinals and walked away with the 1-0 win. The Cardinals

Mike Idland would secure his first Conference Championship title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. This marks the seventh season Idland has led the team to the conference postseason tournament.
