Brockport, NY – The ECAC released the 2025 ECAC Division III Football major awards and All-Region selections on December 19
th.
Nazhier Wilson was named the ECAC Rookie of the Year to highlight six All-Region selections for the Golden Eagles.
Nazhier Wilson – ECAC Rookie of the Year, 1st-Team All-Region
Freshman linebacker
Nazhier Wilson continues to make a name for himself, as he was named the
ECAC Division III Rookie of the Year, as announced by the conference office Friday. Wilson's honor adds to an already impressive debut season in the Green and Gold. Earlier this year, the standout linebacker was also recognized as the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, becoming just the fifth Golden Eagle in program history to earn the conference's top rookie distinction.
A key contributor to
Brockport's defensive success, Wilson made an immediate impact on a unit that finished the season ranked seventh nationally in total defense. The freshman totaled 52 tackles, including 10.5 tackles for loss, and added five quarterback hurries, consistently disrupting opposing offenses throughout the 2025 campaign.
Isaiah Simmons – 1st-Team All-Region
Brockport's star back
Isaiah Simmons adds ECAC All-Region honors to an amazing stack of postseason honors in 2025. Simmons enjoyed a historic 2025 campaign for the Golden Eagles, emerging as one of the top running backs in the nation. He rushed for 1,609 yards and 23 touchdowns on 241 carries, averaging 146.27 rushing yards per game and 6.7 yards per carry. His impact extended beyond the ground game, as he added 22 receptions for 147 yards and a receiving touchdown.
After his season he earned 2-time All-American status (AP & AFCA), ECAC All-Region, D3football All-Region, Empire 8 1
st-Team All-Conference, and MVP honors for the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl.
Julian McGaughy – 1st-Team All-Region
Julian McGaughy collects his second All-Region nod, earning 1
st-Team All-Region honors from the ECAC and D3football in 2025. McGaughy was named 1st-Team All-Conference in the Empire 8. Brockport's starting right tackle finished the season with a 96 player grade and allowed just one sack all year.
McGaughy was a key blocker in the Golden Eagle offense that was first in the Empire 8 in rushing, top 20 nationally, and first in the E8 in sacks allowed (5 total).
Daniel Manneh – 2nd-Team All-Region
Daniel Manneh earns ECAC All-Region for his second regional award from his 2025 campaign. He also earned D3football All-Region 3
rd-Team as a return specialist. Daniel
Manneh collected a trio of Empire 8 All-Conference selections in 2025 with 1st-Team honors as a wideout, 1st-Team honors as a return specialist, and 2nd-Team honors as an all-purpose threat on offense. As a return specialist he had 144 yards and one touchdown on 14 punt returns, while also racking up 331 yards and one touchdown on 12 kickoff returns. As a receiver,
Manneh led Brockport with 64 catches for 875 yards and eight receiving touchdowns. He also averaged 11.3 yards per carry on three rushes for 34 yards.
Adam Montalvo – 2nd-Team All-Region
Adam Montalvo makes his second All-Region team to go with D3football All-Region 3
rd-Team to his resume as another vital part of the Brockport offensive line. The Preseason All-American was also recognized in 2025 as 1
st-Team All-Conference as the third ranked lineman in the Empire 8. Allowing just one sack and earning a player grade of 96,
Montalvo was the starting left tackle for Brockport's offensive unit.
Jayden Ferrell – 2nd-Team All-Region
Jayden Ferrell earns the first All-Region selection of his career making ECAC All-Region 2
nd-Team. The freshman hit the ground running, making an immediate impact on the defensive line and earning his first collegiate honors. Ferrell was a constant disruptor, leading the team with 12 tackles for loss, while racking up three quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery. His play was integral to Brockport's pressure, which ranked second in the Empire 8 for sacks and fumbles forced.
After hosting Geneva (Pa.) in an ECAC Bowl Game, the Golden Eagles closed the 2025 season with a 7–4 overall record and a 4–3 mark in Empire 8 play. Brockport earned a postseason berth for the ninth consecutive season and captured an ECAC Bowl victory for the second straight year, further underscoring the program's sustained success.
