Simmons & McGaughy Named D3football.com All-American

Brockport, NY – On December 22nd, the popular media outlet D3football.com released its 2025 All-America Team. Brockport's Isaiah Simmons and Julian McGaughy both were selected as 2025 D3football.com All-America 2nd-Team Offense.
 
Star running back Isaiah Simmons has now collected a trio of All-American honors to his outstanding 2025 campaign. He earned D3football.com All-American 2nd-Team, Associated Press All-American 1st-Team, and America Football Coaches Association All-American 2nd-Team. Adding to his list, Simmons includes ECAC All-Region, D3football.com All-Region, All-Conference honors, and took home the MVP trophy for the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl.
 
Emerging as one of the top running backs in the nation. He rushed for 1,609 yards and 23 touchdowns on 241 carries, averaging 146.27 rushing yards per game and 6.7 yards per carry. His impact extended beyond the ground game, as he added 22 receptions for 147 yards and a receiving touchdown.
 
Julian McGaughy earns the first All-American honor of his career, joining his running back with a D3football.com 2nd-Team All-American selection. The dominant tackle also snagged the title of ECAC All-Region, D3football.com All-Region, and All-Conference.
 
Brockport's starting right tackle finished the season with a 96 player grade and allowed just one sack all year. McGaughy was a key blocker in the Golden Eagle offense that was first in the Empire 8 in rushing, top 20 nationally, and first in the E8 in sacks allowed (5 total). As a unit, McGaughy and the guys up front paved the way for Brockport to average 36.27 points per game, 426.4 yards per game as an offense, and 5.6 yards per rush in the ground game.
 
After hosting Geneva (Pa.) in an ECAC Bowl Game, the Golden Eagles closed the 2025 season with a 7–4 overall record and a 4–3 mark in Empire 8 play. Brockport earned a postseason berth for the ninth consecutive season and captured an ECAC Bowl victory for the second straight year, further underscoring the program's sustained success.
