Box Score Brockport, NY- The Brockport women's basketball team notched an 83-65 win at Alfred on Friday, February 14
th. Following the victory, the Golden Eagles improved to 20-3 overall and 13-1 in Empire 8 contests.

Cam Tooley led the way with a double-double performance, dropping 13 points with 10 rebounds and five assists in a dynamic effort.

Mandy Brink posted another solid performance, scoring 13 points with seven rebounds.

Peyton Maneri continued her excellent freshmen season, dropping 12 points on 50% shooting with two steals (6-12). Â

Shannon Blankenship poured in 10 points on 50% shooting from beyond the arc (2-4).

The Golden Eagles opened the first quarter with a strong defensive performance, forcing several turnovers and capitalizing with quick points in the paint, led by
Kaileigh Hunt's layups.
Jackie Kozakiewicz contributed with key steals and assists, helping Brockport to a 13-point lead at the 4:44 mark. By the end of the quarter, Brockport maintained their lead, finishing the quarter with an eight-point lead, supported by efficient scoring from
Shannon Blankenship and
Cam Tooley.

The second quarter saw Brockport extend their advantage, outscoring the Saxons 24-16.
Mandy Brink started the quarter with a defensive rebound and successfully converted a layup at 9:15, assisted by
Kaileigh Hunt.
Peyton Maneri contributed with a jumper at 6:34, followed by a layup at 5:10 off a fast break with an assist from
Jackie Kozakiewicz. In the closing moments,
Anna Lee scored a jumper in the paint, assisted by
Harmony Philo, solidifying Brockport's control of the quarter.

Brockport's third quarter was marked by excellent offensive play, beginning with
Cam Tooley hitting two free throws to extend the lead to 48-30.
Mandy Brink added points with a jumper and two free throws, pushing the advantage to 54-36, also assisting
Shannon Blankenship on a 3-pointer. The quarter concluded with
Claire Turner and
Anna Lee scoring baskets, with Lee's fast break basket bringing the score to 67-46.

The Golden Eagles would handle business in the fourth, with
Mandy Brink opening the quarter with a successful layup, while
Cam Tooley adding a layup and a free throw at 6:44, expanding the lead to 26 points.
Peyton Maneri added to the scoring with a fast-break layup, and
Jackie Kozakiewicz and
Claire Turner also added points in the paint to help give Brockport an 18-point win.
