Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's and women's swimming & diving teams wrapped up day three of Empire 8 Championships from the Webster Aquatics Center on Friday, February 21
st. The women's team currently sits in third place (431 points), with the men's team in fourth place (368 points) following day three.

Freshman
Erik Parkes provided a clutch performance in the men's 200-yard butterfly, snagging silver with a second-place finish in 1:53.86 which set a new school record.

The team of Miya Vitale, Addy Martino, Sarah Kilburn, and Elizabeth Sagan took bronze in the women's 200-yard medley relay, finishing in 1:48.42 for third place.

The men's 200-yard medley relay kept the same energy, securing another medal for Brockport with a third-place finish.
Matt Cole,
Sean Feeney,
Joe Keeney, and
Garrett Nanna combined for the bronze medal with a 1:38.26 mark.

In the men's 100-yard backstroke,
Luca Olivieri shined with a 5
th-place finish, wrapping up in 54.38.
Matt Cole (7
th, 55.51) and
Conner Berger (10
th, 1:00.03) scored 19 points combined for Brockport.

Varshana Ramgulam led the way for Brockport in the women's 200-yard butterfly, finishing in eighth place (2:25.62) for 11 team points.
With a time of 58.25 in the women's 100 butterfly, Sarah Kilburn set a new school record for the event.

th, 1:01.37) and Corinne Wilson (10
th, 1:05.01) scored top-10 finishes in the women's 100-yard backstroke, combining for 16 team points.

Addy Martino (6
th, 1:09.33), Lindsey Spitz (7
th, 1:09.64), and Sam Whitman (8
th, 1:12.64) thrived in the 100-yard breaststroke, combining for 42 points for the women's team.

Ren Watson's fifth-place finish in the men's 1-meter dive earned Brockport 14 points, recording a final score of 396.25.

Hannah Ramos, Hannah Pauly, Sarah Colwell, and Varshana Ramgulam took fourth in the 800-yard freestyle relay, finishing in 8:16.34 for 30 team points.
