Brockport, NY- The #12/15 ranked Brockport baseball team dropped Saturday's senior day matchup with Russell Sage, 10-5, on April 19
th. The Golden Eagles fell to 26-3-1 overall and 15-1 in conference play.
Brockport would jump ahead early, with
Cole Grazioplene ripping a two-out, two-RBI single to put Brockport up 2-0.
In the bottom of the third,
Josh Indek launched a solo home run to right field to extend the Brockport lead to 3-0, his first of the season.
The Gators would take over in the fourth inning, launching three home runs to take a 4-3 lead.
Excellent baserunning would tie the contest at 4-4 in the fourth inning, but the Gators would launch two more homers and score six of the last seven runs to earn the win.
Camden Schaffer and
Thomas DiGirolomo each tossed a scoreless inning in relief for Brockport.
Josh Indek led Brockport with two hits, adding a run and an RBI off his solo homer.
