Brockport, NY – The women's soccer team is on the road this week to face Allegheny College on Wednesday, September 17^th at 6pm and Keuka College on Saturday, September 20^th for a 2pm start. The Golden Eagles go into the week 2-0-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference. 

Last Week Recap – On Saturday, September 13^th, the Green and Gold blanked the Russell Sage Gators 3-0 on home turf to open up conference play. 

Megan Gerber opened the scoring book for the team with a quick goal just 1:53 in, assisted by Caitlin Nelson. Right before the halftime break, Jordan Chizuk snuck the ball past the goalkeeper to put the squad up 2-0. 

Going into the second period, the Golden Eagles stayed on top, keeping control of the ball. Felicity Contento added another goal, taken from Diane Lange to finish off the competition 3-0. 

Emily McCane started in between the pipes for the team, making a save. After the break, Madeline McCrosson defended for Brockport, and Karissa Champion made her appearance to finish out the matchup. 

Megan Gerber led the team in shots with four overall and four on goal, and Caitlin Nelson added three shots. Brianna Marino, Felicity Contento, Lavanya Upadhyay, and Jordan Chizuk all tied with two shots and one on goal. 

Scouting Allegheny – The Allegheny Gators are currently 0-4-2 on the 2025 season. Brockport walked away with a 6-1 win against Allegheny in 2023 and an impressive 5-0 shutout in 2024. 

Scouting Keuka – The Wolves currently sit at 0-3-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference in the 2025 season, and finished up last season with a 1-13-2 overall record. In 2023, the Brockport and Keuka matchup resulted in a 3-0 win for the Golden Eagles and a 4-0 shutout in 2024. 

Up Next – The squad will be back home on Tuesday, September 23^rd to host Fredonia starting at 4pm, and will be on the road to Hartwick College on Saturday, September 27^th, starting at 12pm.
