BROCKPORT, N.Y- The Brockport Men's Soccer team earned a 4-0 Empire 8 win over Keuka College on Saturday, September 20th. The Golden Eagles improved to 2-4-1 following the victory with a 1-1 mark in conference contests.
Brockport wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, scoring in the opening 10 minutes of the contest.
Max Voyer would bury the lone goal of the first half, scoring 9:11 into the contest.
Despite outshooting the Wolves 8-2, Keuka goalkeeper Logan Karn made two saves to keep the score at 1-0 entering halftime.
The Golden Eagles would build on a strong first half, outshouting the Wolves 15 to 1 in the second half. Just 2:32 into the second half,
Brady Reinagel found the back of the net thanks to a feed from
Max Voyer to double the Brockport lead.
The 81st minute would see Brockport pull away for good, scoring two goals 31 seconds apart.
Trevor Lagarde started the scoring at the 81:09 mark, followed by
Micaiah Benjamin-Castle at the 81:40 mark of the contest.
Keegan Watson would provide the assist on the Benjamin-Castle goal.

AJ Nelson earned his first win with the Golden Eagles, making a save on the lone Keuka scoring chance.
Ryan Mathis led the squad with two shots on goal on the afternoon.
Parker Warren played all 90 minutes for the Brockport backline.
