Golden Eagles Show Out With Shutout at Hartwick

Brockport, NY – The women's soccer team brought home a dominating 3-0 shutout from Hartwick College today. The squad is now 5-0-3 overall and remains undefeated at 3-0 in conference play.

The Golden Eagles started off strong, keeping the ball off their side with two shots at Hartwick before Lyndsey Miller started the team off with a 1-0 lead early on at just 18 minutes in. The team kept the momentum throughout the first period until Amelia Breton added another goal to the back of the net. Just before the halftime break, Kaitlyn Spring scored her first goal of the season to bring the Green and Gold up to 3-0.

The second half remained quiet and scoreless, with the Hawks taking control. Hartwick outshot Brockport 8-2, but was no match for the defensive line. They also tied in corner kicks with four.
