Alfred would bounce back coming out of halftime, enjoying solid shooting (7-15 FG) from the field and beyond the arc (3-8 3PT). Despite regressing offensively from the second quarter, made three pointers from
Jackie Kozakiewicz,
Ava Howie, and Jean-Baptiste in the third would help Brockport edge Alfred 19-17 in the quarter.
Up 15 entering the final 10 minutes, Brockport's defense would end a possible Saxon comeback bid, allowing just two made field goals (6 points).
Ava Howie (5PT, 2-2),
