Brockport, NY – The men's and women's indoor track teams are set for a busy weekend of competing as they travel to Ithaca for the Ithaca Bomber Invitational on Saturday, January 31
st, and Sunday, February 1
st at 10am.

Last Time Out – Last weekend, the Green and Gold traveled to RIT for the RIT Friday Night Meet where they faced strong competition on the track, but came out with impressive results.
Men's Team
Starting the meet off strong for the Golden Eagles was
Aidan Mayer who came in fifth in the men's mile with a time of 4:29.53.
In the 300m,
Cole Ferris had a day, clinching a third place spot with a time of 36.93 seconds.
In the final round of the 60m dash,
Evan Thayer made a strong effort to finish in fifth with a quick time of 7.26 seconds.
Finishing in fifth and sixth place in the 800m was
Thomas Canestrari and
Brayden Mahoney. Canestrari crossed the line in 1:59.27, and Mahoney finished with a mark of 2:00.76.
Benjamin Betrus finished out the meet taking fifth in the men's 3000m with a time of 9:19.51.
Michael Durski fought hard in the 200m to clinch third and finish at a quick time of 22.87 seconds.
In the high jump,
Cardin Chau had a day, finishing in second place from a 1.93m jump.
Gabriel Giannini showed out in the long jump, walking away with a second place spot from a 6.90m leap into the pit.
Collin Dicks had a 6.60m jump, good for sixth place.
Finishing fourth in the weight throw was
Mitchell Ellsworth with a 16.19m throw.
Hunter Richards followed shortly behind in sixth with a 15.76m throw.
Women's Team
Maeve Robarge set the tone, opening the day by taking sixth place in the 800m race with a time of 2:26.08.
In the 1000m, Brockport finished in the top two, with Ethne Degan bringing home first place 3:02.46, and Emily Leo finishing close behind in second in 3:08.56.
In the high jump, Sasha Schramm showed out with a 1.48m jump, good for a tie for fifth place.
Trinity Dees made a strong effort in the shot put to clinch a second place spot from a 12.71m jump.
Brockport is back in action on Saturday, February 7
th as they travel back to Ithaca College and compete at 12pm.
