Courage Bowl XXI
The 21st annual Courage Bowl will bring together the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles and St. John Fisher Cardinals for a special celebration of courage, community, and the Camp Good Days mission.
For the game, Camp Good Days selects honorary coaches and cheerleaders from among its campers who have been diagnosed with cancer and would not ordinarily have the opportunity to participate in a football game. The Camp Good Days Courage Bowl provides these courageous campers with a special opportunity to take part in the game and experience the excitement of being on the field.
At the conclusion of the Courage Bowl, the Teddi Trophy will be presented in memory of Teddi Mervis, Gary Mervis' daughter and the inspiration behind Camp Good Days. The trophy will later be inscribed with the game date, final score, names of the honorary coaches and cheerleaders, and the names of one player from each team who demonstrates exceptional leadership and sportsmanship.
