BROCKPORT, N.Y. — The SUNY Brockport men's lacrosse team returns to A. Huntley Parker Jr. Field this Saturday, April 25, for its regular-season finale against Keuka College. Prior to the 1:00 p.m. opening faceoff, the Golden Eagles will honor their senior class as part of Senior Day ceremonies.

Brockport (3-13, 3-5 Empire 8) enters Saturday's matchup looking to rebound following a road loss to No. 21 Nazareth University on Wednesday. Despite a 23-7 final score, the Golden Eagles showed resilience, highlighted by a strong second quarter in which they outscored the nationally ranked Golden Flyers, 4-3, to cut the deficit to five goals at halftime.
The second-quarter surge was sparked by a man-up goal from Pierson Jacobs, followed by unassisted goals from Nicolas Ange and Patrick Donahoe. In goal, Jared Kulik delivered another standout performance, recording 20 saves against a 67-shot onslaught—marking his third 20-save effort of the season.
Golden Eagle Leaders
The Brockport offense has been led by Daniel Stiles, who paces the team with 31 points and 17 assists. A consistent presence, Stiles has started all 16 contests, adding 14 goals and 28 ground balls. He is followed by Daniel Wright, the team's leading goal scorer with 20 goals (27 points), and Michael Dowden, who has contributed 21 points on 12 goals and nine assists.
Defensively, Brockport is anchored by Austin Thornhill, Cody Whittaker, and Brady Donaghy, each of whom has surpassed the 40 ground ball mark this season. Thornhill leads the group with 55 ground balls and a team-high 21 caused turnovers. At the faceoff X, Whittaker has secured 92 wins, while Donaghy has added 41 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers, providing a strong presence in transition.
In net, Jared Kulik has emerged as one of the top goalkeepers in the Empire 8. Starting every game this season, he ranks third in the conference in both save percentage (.548) and saves per game (14.19). His 227 total saves have been instrumental in keeping Brockport competitive throughout the season.
Scouting the Wolves
Keuka College enters the contest with a 5-10 overall record and an 0-7 mark in Empire 8 play, currently sitting at the bottom of the conference standings while looking to snap an eight-game losing streak.
Offensively, the Wolves are led by Harrison Root, who has totaled 42 goals and 48 points, and Austin Holsclaw, the team's primary facilitator with 16 assists to go along with 24 goals. In goal, Jaxson Tucker has been a high-volume presence, averaging 16.6 saves per game—second in the Empire 8—and totaling 249 saves on the season.
