Liana DeValder collects All-Region 3
rd-Team honors for Region III.
The fantastic freshman adds another honor to the list of accolades from year one at the collegiate level. DeValder is now NFCA All-Region, Empire 8 Rookie of the Year, Empire 8 All-Conference, and a member of the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team.
Shining in the circle at pitcher for the Golden Eagles, Liana racked up 11 wins and one save across 22 appearances (15 starts) with 13 complete games. Pitching 109.1 innings on the season, she earned a 2.37 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. DeValder totaled 119 strikeouts to just 20 walks on the year.
She was a menace at the plate as well, providing great two-way production for Brockport in her first year. DeValder batted .315 with 28 hits and 26 RBIs. She led the team with 11 doubles, two triples, 1.015 OPS, .584 slugging, and 19 walks.
Liana played a key role in Team 50's success in 2026, marking one of the program's best seasons in recent memory. DeValder helped lead the Golden Eagles to their first postseason appearance and win in over a decade. Brockport finished the year 18-19 overall and 13-9 in E8 play, falling in the Empire 8 Tournament at Geneseo.
