BROCKPORT, N.Y. – SUNY Brockport softball placed three student-athletes on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced.
Caitlyn Dailey, Julia Hill, and Paige Wentland earned the honor, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, and be a starter or key reserve for their team.
This year a record 42 Empire 8 Student-Athletes from all twelve institutions were selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Softball NCAA Division III Team.
Dailey, Hill, and Wentland were instrumental for the Golden Eagles this season while excelling academically. The trio helped lead the Golden Eagles to their first postseason appearance and win in over a decade.
Brockport finished the year 18-19 overall and 13-9 in E8 play, falling in the Empire 8 Tournament at Geneseo.
