Brockport, NY - The Brockport men's soccer team will host Hobart College on Tuesday, September 15th at 4 PM. The Golden Eagles will then celebrate Youth Soccer Day on Homecoming Weekend against SUNY Poly on Saturday (Sep 19th) at 2 PM.

Last Outing: Brockport earned a hard-fought draw at Moravian University, 2-2, on Saturday, September 12th. 

Andrew Watrous (0-0-1) was outstanding between the pipes for Brockport, making five saves in his first 2026 start.

Ryan Mathis and Arthur Barrozo-Fernaine powered the offense with a goal each, with Peter Tinaj and Trevor Lagarde adding assists.

Aiden Johnson added a shot on goal, with Khadim Amar, Greg Ramin, Parker Warren, and Trevor Lagarde playing all 90 minutes for the Green and Gold.

Constant Scoring: Coming off an eight-goal freshman season in 2025, Ryan Mathis has maintained his scoring prowess in his second season. Mathis has found paydirt in three of Brockport's first four outings, scoring goals against RIT, Buffalo State, and Moravian. His three goals and six points lead all Golden Eagles to begin the 2026 season.

Iron Men: Coming over to the Green and Gold in the transfer portal, junior Greg Ramin has been a welcome addition to the Brockport midfield. The Baldwinsville, NY native has played every minute of the Golden Eagles' first four contests, leading the squad with 360 minutes played. Khadim Amar has done much of the same, playing 90 minutes in each of Brockport's last three outings and adding a team second-best two goals (4P).

Scouting Hobart: The Statesman will enter Tuesday with a 5-0 record, earning a 1-0 win over Rochester last weekend. In the head-to-head series, Hobart and Brockport have split the last four meetings, with the Golden Eagles looking to avenge a 4-1 loss to Hobart last season.

Scouting SUNY Poly: The Wildcats have jumped out to a 3-2 start, picking up a 3-2 win at Mount Saint Mary (NY) last Saturday and will head to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts before Saturday's matchup. Brockport has won two of the three head-to-head matchups (2-0-1) against the Wildcats, including a 2-1 win at SUNY Poly last season.
