BROCKPORT, NY - The Brockport men's and women's cross-country teams are set to compete at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday, September 26th. The day will kick off with the men's 8'k race at 10 am, followed by the women's 5 K at 11:00 am.

Yellowjacket Invitational
Last week, the Golden Eagles' women's team placed 11th with 308 points out of 16 teams, while the men's team finished 13th with 390 points at the Yellowjacket Invitational hosted by Rochester at Genesee Valley Park.
In the women's 6K, Salma Moumen led the way for Brockport, finishing 48th overall in 18:04.8. Natalie Heselton followed in 52nd place in 18:10.5, while Lindsey Male finished 59th in 18:11.9.
Sabine Yannone was Brockport's fourth finisher, placing 72nd in 18:17.2. Abigail Polus rounded out the scoring five, finishing 77th with a time of 18:20.6.
In the men's 8K, Ethan Stauffer paced the Golden Eagles, finishing 66th overall with a time of 27:36.3. Joseph Massett was Brockport's second finisher, placing 73rd in 27:57.2.
Tyler Grossman crossed the line in 79th place with a time of 28:23.1, while Cody Harloff followed in 85th at 28:36.9. Alex Deal completed Brockport's scoring five, finishing 87th in 28:40.8.
XC Flashback
Brockport will return to Roberts Wesleyan for the first time since the 2024 season, hoping to replicate the squad's success. The Golden Eagles earned top-five team finishes, with the women's team finishing fourth of 22 teams and the men's team taking fifth place out of 25 teams.
Leading the Way
Through two races, Ethne Degan and Salma Mourmen have finished as the top two finishers for the women's team. Degan helped Brockport secure a first-place finish at the Tom Balon Classic, earning a second-place finish and a 19:47 mark. Mourmen led Brockport at Genesee Valley Park, finishing with a team-best 18:04 mark. On the men's side, Jace Stuart and Ethan Stauffer have produced team-best performances, with Stuart finishing fourth overall with a 16:03 mark in his first outing as a Golden Eagle.
