BROCKPORT, NY - The Brockport men's soccer team (4-3-1, 3-0 E8) heads to Alfred (4-2-1, 2-1-1 E8) on Wednesday, September 30th, before returning home for Senior Day against Russell Sage (4-2-4, 1-1-2 E8) on Saturday, October 3rd at 1 PM. 

Empire 8 Dominance: The Golden Eagles enter the week riding a three-game conference winning streak, allowing just one goal over that stretch. After home wins over SUNY Poly (3-0) and Geneseo (1-0), the Golden Eagles won 2-1 at Keuka College last Saturday. 

Khadim Amar and Ryan Mathis each scored to power the offense, while the Brockport defense held the Wolves to just one shot on target. 

AJ Nelson (W, 4-3) earned his third consecutive win between the pipes, allowing just one goal in his last three outings with eight saves.

Max Maouris added an assist in the win, posting three points across two games last week.

Leading the Charge: Each leading Brockport with 10 points, Khadim Amar and Ryan Mathis rank among the top players in the Empire 8. Amar and Mathis lead the E8 with 1.25 points per game while also ranking in the top three in shot accuracy (2nd and 3rd). Amar's five goals lead all players in the conference. 

Steady Playmaker: Senior Trevor Lagarde has emerged as a top playmaker for Brockport, posting a point or better in four of seven games. The Palm Coast, Fl natives five assists are the 2nd most in the E8 and 21st best in the country. 

Scouting Alfred: The Saxons are coming off a 1-0 win at Utica University last Saturday, moving to 1-1-1 in conference play. Brockport will look to maintain dominance in the head-to-head series, winning the last five head-to-head matchups dating back to 2005. 

Scouting Russell Sage: The Gators are riding a dominant 8-0 Senior Day win against VTSU Johnson on Sunday, and will host MCLA (Mass) on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles will hope to replicate a 4-0 win over the Gators at home in 2025.
