SUNY Brockport Athletics

Johnson is a graduate of Edmeston Central High School and is the daughter of Tim and Vicki Johnson. She has two siblings, Alex and Susanna. Catherine had a very successful high school career, during which she was a five-time Tri Valley Champion, five-time Tri Valley League First-Team All-Star, a four-time All-State selection, and a two-time Sectional Finalist. She also surpassed the 1,000 career strikeout milestone, accumulating 1,050  strikeouts in high school. Before joining the Golden Eagles she played two years of ball at Millersville University, where she led the pitching staff in strikeouts both seasons and with 10 wins in year two tied the ninth best singe-season win total in program history. As the ace on the pitching staff for Brockport in 2021, she was selected to SUNYAC All-Conference Second-Team. She is currently pursuing a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting with a minor in Kinesiology.
