Biography

Ben is a graduate of Corning East High School. He competed at the state level in the 400 meter, and 4x800 meter, and also holds the school record for distance medley relay and 4x800 meter. He’s the son of Paul Mertus and Elaine Farwell, and has five siblings, Sam, Kate, Matt, Luke, and Hanna. He’s pursuing a major in Anthropology.
