Ella Buchanan joins the Brockport field hockey coaching staff for the 2025 season following a successful four-year playing career with the Golden Eagles. A two-time All-Conference selection, Buchanan finished her playing career with a 30-18 record and 355 career saves, posting 10 shutouts in net for the Golden Eagles.
A staple between the pipes since 2022, Buchanan helped lead the Golden Eagles to two of their most successful seasons in program history, winning 11 games in 2023 (T-4) and a program third-best 13 wins in 2024.   Â
Buchanan’s 2024 senior season saw her set a career-best mark in saves (129), save percentage (83.2%), GA/AVG (1.47), and shutouts (6), earning All-Region honors for back-to-back seasons. Â
