Katie Lass joined the Brockport Field Hockey program as an assistant coach in the fall of 2019.
Lass was a four year member of the Ithaca College field hockey program where she collected a number of accolades such as Empire 8 Rookie and Athlete of the Year, NFHCA All-North Atlantic Region Second Team, ECAC Mid-Atlantic Second-Team All-Star, All-Empire 8 First Team, and Finished 10th in DIII in Goals Against Avg (0.75).
The Cherry Hill, N.J. native brings experience to the program from a number of different levels including having played with the University of South Wales Hockey Club and the US Women’s National Indoor Team. She has also helped coach in multiple different organizations including Ultimate Defender Goalkeeping Academy, USA Field Hockey Futures, and WNY Whalers Field Hockey Club.
Lass received her bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in 2017 with a concentration in Architectural Studies. She continues her education at the University at Buffalo where she is pursuing her Masters.Â
