Vedella comes to the Brockport Athletics staff after most recently coaching at the Buffalo Hurricanes U19 Club.
Prior to coaching the Hurricanes, Vedella was a four-year starter for St. John Fisher College, and was part of the programs innagural season in 2011. During her career there, she amassed 19 goals and had 15 assists. Vedella helped lead her team to three post season appearances, and two trips to the Championship game. She was a three-time Empire 8 All-Conference Second Team Honoree and served as team captain during her senior year.
In high school, she was a three-year varsity starter at Iroquois. She was a member of the Empire State Games Field Hockey team in 2010 as well as an All Western New York First Team selection. She was an ECIC First Team All-Star in 2009 and 2010 and earned Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2010.
Vedella received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from St. John Fisher College and plans to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy.
