Coaching Career Path
Ed Jaskulski joined the staff as an assistant coach after graduating from Brockport in 2003. In 2009, Jaskulski was promoted to interim head coach for the Outdoor Track & Field squads. He then took over as the Director of Cross Country/Track & Field in 2013. Now the Head Coach of Brockport Track & Field. he works closely with the throwers while continuing to propel the program forward as a whole.

Jaskulski also serves as the college’s strength and conditioning coach. He will apply his extensive strength and conditioning knowledge and 15 plus years of training under the bar to the development of weight training regimens for the Brockport student-athletes.

Growing a Successful Program
During his coaching tenure, Jaskulski has coached over 60 NCAA participants, over 30 All-Americans, over 60 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) champions, over 20 state champions, and has had three National Champions. Since taking the reigns as leader of the program, Jaskulski has had more than 100 1st Team All-SUNYAC athletes and 100 more 2nd and 3rd Team selections combined.

In addition to the 2009 Women’s Outdoor Championship, he has coached the Men’s (2007 and 2008) and Women’s (2008) Outdoor New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) Championship team and the 2007 Men’s Indoor ECAC Championship team.

He has been named Coach of the Year multiple times since his role has grown over the years. Jaskulski was honored by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as the NCAA's Atlantic Region Women's Assistant Coach of the Year during 2011 and 2010. He was also selected as the SUNYAC Coach of the Year for women's track and field as the Golden Eagles captured their first SUNYAC title for the women in 2009.
 
Athletic Career
As an undergraduate, Jaskulski was a captain for the Golden Eagle football team, as well as a shot put and discus thrower for the track and field teams. As a senior, Jaskulski narrowly missed qualifying for the Division III nationals in the shot put. In the weight room, Jaskulski formerly held the program’s power lifting record (1,735 lbs.). Jaskulski still competitively powerlifts and holds an elite total (2100lbs) for the combined lifts.
