In 2018 the Golden Eagles will have a fresh face on the sidelines, with assistant coach Marcus McGill joining the staff.
McGill comes to the Golden Eagles after an impressive playing career at the University of Buffalo. In three years as a Bull, McGill saw action in 35 games, making 112 career receptions for 1,497 yards and seven touchdowns.
Prior to his college career, McGill had a tremendous playing career locally, becoming the first player in Gates Chili school history to be twice named first-team All-Greater Rochester, second-team All-State  and was a three-time All-County selection. In high school, he recorded 1,798 all-purpose yards and 20 touchdowns and McGill set a Section V record with 98-yard kickoff return for a score.
