Justin joined the Brockport staff as an assistant coach for the men's lacrosse program in 2019 after previously serving as an assistant coach for Rome Free Academy High School in 2018.
During his playing career he made several stops along the way. In 2018 he was a key member of the Philippines National Team that took 10th place at the World Lacrosse Championships. He began his collegiate career at Onondaga Community College where he was a member of the 2015 NJCAA National Championship team and the 2016 NJCAA National Runner-Up team. While serving as a team captain at OCC in 2016, Hussey was named a NJCAA All-American.
He then went on to play at Le Moyne College to complete his collegiate career, helping to anchor one of the top defensive units in the country. At Le Moyne he made appearances in the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2017 and 2018. Justin earned recognition as First Team All Northeast-10 and Academic First Team All Northeast-10 as a long-stick midfielder in 2018.
