Kelly Dunne joined The College at Brockport Women’s Basketball staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2012. A four-year standout at Nazareth College, Dunne will work primarily with the guards and will also serve as the recruiting coordinator.
As a member of the Golden Flyers, Dunne started 97 of the 100 games she played in over her four-year career. Dunne averaged 8.9 points per game over her career and led the team in assists each season.
A two-year captain for the Golden Flyers, Dunne holds the Nazareth school record for best free-throw percentage, hitting 80 percent of her shots from the charity stripe. During her senior season, Dunne ranked fourth nationally at 90 percent from the free-throw line. Dunne also ranks in the top-10 at Nazareth for three-point field goals made, three-point percentage, assists and steals.
A native of Northport, NY, Dunne graduated from Nazareth in 2010 with a Social Sciences degree. Dunne’s older brother Greg is the head coach of the Brockport Men’s Basketball team.
