Brittany Howard

Brittany Howard joins the Brockport coaching staff for the 2016 season.  Howard arrives from Binghamton University where she spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach for the Division I program. Before coaching at Binghamton, Howard spent eight months coaching at Adrian College, a DIII in Michigan. 

The Oswego native played collegiately at Limestone College (Gaffney, S.C.). While at Limestone, Howard led the Saints to a pair of NCAA Division II title games and four straight Conference Carolinas regular season and tournament championships. Limestone advanced to the NCAA tournament each of the four years Howard competed.

Howard, a two-time team captain, registered a 73-8 career record while at Limestone starting 77 of 81 contests in her four seasons. The four-year starter at midfield scored 78 goals and handed out 17 assists in a Saints uniform. As a sophomore, Howard was a second-team all-conference selection and garnered National Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and USACollegeLacrosse.com All-American honors.

Equally gifted off the field, Howard was a three-time selection to the Conference Carolinas All-Academic Team. Following the 2013 season, she was named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) honor roll. In 2012 Howard was inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma.

Howard graduated with bachelor’s degree in strength and conditioning with a minor in athletic coaching from Limestone College in 2013.  She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Sports Management at SUNY Cortland.
