The Glasser Era Begins
In Bryana's first year, she led her team to the Semi-Finals after hosting the quarter-final round and beating New Paltz 11-7. She had two 2023 first-team all-conference selections: Cassidy Burnash and Courtney Cunningham. She also had two second-team all-conference selections: Alyana Foos and Taylor Ford. Both Cunningham and Burnash earned Division III All-Region honors from The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). She ended the season with an overall record of 8-8 and a conference record of 6-3.
Maintaining Constancy
Across Glasser's first three seasons, the Golden Eagles have finished .500 or better, posting a 28-25 record with a strong 19-8 conference record since 2023. The 2024 season saw Glasser lead Brockport to another double-digit win season, going 10-7 with a 6-3 record in SUNYAC contests. The squad would score a home SUNYAC Tournament opening round win over Oswego in overtime, 11-10, before falling at #1 seed Cortland in the SUNYAC Semifinals. Glasser would mentor seven all-conference selections, including SUNYAC Rookie of the Year Tristan Davis. Entering the Empire 8 as first-year members in 2025, Glasser would lead Brockport to an excellent 7-2 conference record (9-9 overall), earning a home playoff game against Utica. Glasser would guide Brockport to its third playoff victory in as many years, earning seven all-conference selections and the conference Rookie of the Year for back-to-back seasons (
Karaline McCarthy).
Personal Life
Bryana Glasser returned to Brockport in the Fall of 2022 as an assistant coach for the women’s lacrosse program and was elevated to interim head coach in the Spring of 2023. She previously spent two seasons as Coach Wagner’s assistant in 2018 and 2019, helping lead the Golden Eagles to two consecutive SUNYAC Conference Tournament Championship games, including the conference title and automatic NCAA Tournament berth in 2019.
Glasser brings a wealth of lacrosse coaching and playing experience to the sidelines. Before joining the staff at Brockport, she spent three seasons as the Head Coach at Division I Sienna College, where she helped guide the Saints to a top-four ranking in the MAAC and rights to host MAAC Tournament action in 2015.
In 2017, she was a head coach at the World Cup Lacrosse Festival, where she guided her team to the finals and a silver medal at the FIFA World Cup Festival alongside various D1 lacrosse players.
Prior to Sienna, she spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Division I Duquesne University, where she helped lead the Dukes to the A10 Championship game in 2013 and the A10 Semifinals in 2014.
She also spent one season as an assistant coach at the University of New Hampshire and one season in the same role at Iona College.
During her playing days, she was a three-year starter on defense (2007-2010) for the Hofstra women’s lacrosse team. She made it to the final 64 at the U.S. developmental team tryout in 2009. She also helped Hofstra win the CAA Championship in 2007, which led to an NCAA Tournament appearance. In her final season at Hofstra, she guided the Pride to another CAA Tournament Championship game appearance.
She graduated from Hofstra in 2010 with a degree in Physical Education and went on to earn her master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Sports Psychology from Capella University in 2013.
She currently resides in her hometown of Irondequoit, and her husband, Keith Glasser, is the head baseball coach at RPI.
