Courtney Szczesniak

Courtney Szczesniak joined The College at Brockport women's lacrosse coaching staff in 2016.
 
Szczesniak joins the coaching ranks after a standout athletic career as a Golden Eagle. A two-sport athlete, Szczesnaik racked up recognition on both the soccer and lacrosse field. She was a two-time SUNYAC Lacrosse All-Conference pick, named to the 2016 SUNYAC All-Tournament team, and was selected at the 2016 SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year. In her senior campaign, the captain led the Golden Eagles to the Elite Eight round of the 2016 NCAA Championship Tournament. On the soccer pitch, Szczesniak was a two-year team captain, two-time SUNYAC All-Conference Team selection and a two time SUNYAC All-Conference winner. In 2016, Szczesniak was named the Brockport Female Student Athlete of the Year.
 
Prior to joining the lacrosse coaching staff, Szczesniak was an Intern with the Brockport Athletics Strength and Conditioning program, and coached at the Liverpool Youth Lacrosse Camp. She also served as a Lifeguard, and is CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard and AED certified.
 
Szczesniak graduated from The College at Brockport in 2016 with Cum Laude honors, with a degree in Exercise Science and a Biology minor.
