Erin Growney joined The College at Brockport women’s lacrosse coaching staff in the summer of 2013. Growney will be primarily working with the defense, as well as taking on the role of recruiting/scouting coordinator and alumni relations contact.
Growney earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from Limestone College in 2011. At Limestone, Growney was a four-year letter-winner for the women’s lacrosse team. The outstanding defender earned All-Conference all four years and was named an All-American three times. Growney helped her team make it to the NCAA Tournament every season and made it to the National Championship game her senior year.
After graduating college, Growney lived in Mexico for a year.
Prior to Brockport, Growney was coaching at Providence Day School in Charlotte, N.C.
A native of Rochester, NY, Growney played lacrosse at East Rochester High School under former Brockport women’s lacrosse head coach Linda Michele. Growney also played on the field hockey team that won the State Championships twice.
Growney currently coaches Mid Western Force, a club team. She will be pursuing her master’s degree at Brockport in Athletic Administration.
