Mary Kay Maslanka

Mary Maslanka was hired to The College at Brockport Women’s Soccer staff as an assistant coach in 2014.

Maslanka returns to Brockport where she was a member of the Golden Eagles from 1999-2002. In that time she was named 1st Team All-SUNYAC (2001), 2nd Team All-Region (2001) and to the All-State Team (2001, 2002). In 2002 she was named team captain and helped lead the Golden Eagles to a 14-8 record (SUNYAC 7-3). Her 14 wins on the season still hold as the most recorded wins in any season of a Brockport women’s soccer goalkeeper.

She also began her coaching career immediately after graduating college, working her way up from junior varsity coach to the head varsity soccer coaching job at Churchville-Chili in 2010.

In 2007, Maslanka completed her graduate studies to earn her Master’s of Science in Secondary Education Social Studies. She also earned several academic distinctions during her playing career including SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence (2003), NSCAA/Adidas All-East Academic Team (2001, 2002), CoSIDA Verizon Academic All-District Team (2001, 2002) and SUNYAC All-Academic Team (2000, 2001, 2002).
