SUNY Brockport Athletics

Tyler North joined the coaching staff of The College at Brockport Volleyball team in the summer of 2014 and helped lead the Golden Eagles to its first State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) playoff berth since 2009.

North assists with drills during practice, breakdown of game film and accurate statistics during games. He works primarily with the middle hitters and blockers which both positions have seen great strides taken in his tenure.

In May of 2015, North graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from The College at Brockport. He was a three year member of the Brockport club volleyball team.

In addition to his experience with volleyball, North has an extensive background in basketball. He played at the collegiate level first at Jamestown Community College, followed by a season with the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. He is the founder and head coach of the Chautauqua County Chaos AAU Basketball team. He also was the head coach of SUNY Brockport’s women’s club basketball team in 2015.
