Alexandra Marshall (Manorville, NY/Eastport-South Manor) of the women’s basketball team has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week after posting her first career double-double. The Golden Eagles defeated Morrisville 58-45 on Tuesday night.

Marshall grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds while posting 12 points. The junior has scored in double figures in all four games for Brockport this season, averaging 14.0 points per contest.

Against the Mustangs, Marshall hit four field goals, including one from three-point range. Marshall went 3-4 from three free throw line. In 35 minutes of action, Marshall grabbed two steals and dished out three assists.

Next up for the Golden Eagles is the 20th annual Wendy’s College Classic. Brockport will travel to St. John Fisher to take on the Cardinals at 8:00 pm on Tuesday night.
