Sophomore women’s basketball player Erin Cunningham (Marlboro, NY/Marlboro) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on January 26.

Cunningham helped the Golden Eagles finish the weekend with two important conference wins over Oneonta and New Paltz.

On Friday night, Cunningham hit a last second shot to give Brockport the hard fought win. She finished the night with eight points. On Saturday night, Cunningham’s rebounding helped Brockport gain control in the first half. In 20 minutes Cunningham pulled down eight rebounds as the Golden Eagles outrebounded New Paltz 32-8. The first half lead that Brockport created helped them to finish the weekend with back-to-back conference victories.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Tuesday night at 6 pm for a home matchup against conference rival Cortland.
