Junior softball player Andrea Schell (Glen Gardner, NJ/Voorhees) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on April 13.

Schell helped power Brockport during the opening week of State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play. For the week Schell led the Golden Eagle offense, hitting .471, scoring eight runs and tallying seven RBI’s in six games. Against Oswego, Schell hit a homerun in each game of the doubleheader to help Brockport sweep the series. To end the week, Schell bombed two homeruns in game two of a doubleheader against Oneonta in the 2014 home opener helping the Golden Eagles split the series.

So far this season, Schell is leading the Golden Eagles with a .435 batting average and .761 slugging percentage.
