SUNY Brockport Athletics

Junior women’s lacrosse player Nina Tassone (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on April 20.

Tassone scored five goals and added an assist for a season-high six points helping the Golden Eagles earn an important State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) win over Oswego. Her four first half goals helped push Brockport ahead going into halftime. Her fifth goal of the game was key in helping the Golden Eagles push out their lead to two and seal the 12-10 victory.

With the win, Brockport moved ahead of the Lakers in the current SUNYAC standings into fifth place and move into better positioning for conference playoffs.
