Senior Jaime Snyder (Elmira, NY/Thomas Edison) has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the week for the week ending October 13. She played phenomenal defense in leading volleyball to a 3-1 (2-1 SUNYAC) record on the week.

Snyder led Brockport with 97 digs in the four contests, while also chipping in nine assists and four service aces. Brockport won two exciting matches that went to the fifth and deciding set against RIT and Buffalo State.

Against SUNYAC opponent Buffalo State, Snyder had her best game of the week, contributing 50 digs, four assists and two service aces.

With the Bengals leading and a single point from winning the match, Snyder was at her best. She saved the match with several unbelievable digs. Despite the best efforts of Bengals attackers they could not put the kill past the sprawled out Snyder. With Snyder’s match-saving digs, the Golden Eagles were able to rally for the victory over Buffalo State.
