Freshman Carly Bulich helped lead the women’s soccer team to a 4-0 victory Friday evening and has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 21.

Bulich got things rolling for Brockport early in the first half as she skillfully snuck a low pass through traffic to teammate Chelsea Stahl who controlled the ball with one touch and sent it past the Maverick goalie. The Golden Eagles took the 1-0 lead at the 12 minute mark.

In the second half of play, Bulich added to the Golden Eagle lead with a goal of her own. Teammate Christina Leonardo rushed down the right sideline with the ball and sent a crossing pass to the far post. The ball was struck by a leaping Bulich and headed into the back of the net. On the day she totaled three points for the first points of her Brockport career!

Brockport has a home game Monday night versus D’Youville at 7:30 p.m. under the lights of Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium on Bob Boozer Field.
