Senior Dan Brigano (Utica, NY/Proctor) won both the one- and three-meter dives against Buffalo State Friday night, smashing his career-high for six dives on the three-meter and eclipsing the qualifying standards for the NCAA Division III national championships in both events. Brigano was honored as The College at Brockport’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Brigano scored 312.60 points for six dives on the three-meter, besting his previous high score by more than five points. He also won the one-meter with a score of 306.30 points. It was the seventh time this year that Brigano has eclipsed the qualifying standards for nationals. Brigano has surpassed the standard four times on the one-meter and three times on the three-meter.
