Candis Kowalik had strong performances at the NCGA National Championship. She led the Golden Eagles during the team competition, scoring a meet-high 9.900 on floor, a 9.750 on the beam, a 9.650 on the vault and a 9.250 on the bars. She also finished second in the All-Around competition with her marks earning her a 38.500. During the individual competition, Kowalik picked up a pair of second place finishes and a third, earning four All-American designations along the way. The junior finished second on the vault (9.800) and the floor (9.875) and took third on the beam (9.750).
