Sophomore Madison Buckley (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) scored three minutes into the game and added two more goals in the final 10 minutes of action to lead The College at Brockport field hockey team to a convincing 5-1 victory over Morrisville in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game Saturday afternoon in Morrisville.

Her hat-trick earned her the distinction as Brockport’s Female Athlete of the Week.

Buckley's first goal was scored off a scramble in front of the Morrisville goal, and she put the game out of reach with two late markers. The Golden Eagles improved to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play with the win.

Buckley leads the team with seven goals and 15 points.
