The College at Brockport Tennis team fell by a 9-0 score to SUNY Cortland Saturday in a non-conference match in Cortland.

The Golden Eagles (4-8) had its closest match at the No. 6 singles position as senior Jen Lazarony (Corfu, NY/Pembroke) dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision.

Cortland (7-2) won all the doubles matches and swept the singles matches en route to the 9-0 victory.  Freshman Ellen Meyers (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) scored three points in one of her sets at No. 5 singles and the doubles teams of Kaitlyn Broderick  (Bohemia, NY/Connetquot) and Meyers as well as Carolyn McMenemon (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) and Shayla Combs (Schenectady, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) each scored three wins in games for the Golden Eagles.
